Who Wants a Subscription to Homeschooling Today magazine? (See some answers below.)
Homeschooling Today® magazine is a ministry of homeschooling families. We do our best to make it the highest quality magazine you receive.
We often receive request to send free copies to friends and family members of homeschoolers. Many of these folks simply want others to understand why they have chosen to disciple their children at home. But, as much as we would like to, we can't afford to send it to everyone that we want.
We do understand the desire to have others understand—and even consider for themselves—this road we are on. We would like nothing more than to put a copy of the magazine into as many hands as possible.
That's where you come in. Many businesses have waiting rooms, lobbies, and other areas where clients, patients, and guests are looking for something to read while they wait. Doctors, mechanics, and churches readily come to mind.
Wouldn't a subscription to Homeschooling Today magazine be a great gift to those businesses? Most would see it as a welcome addition, a service to those who walk through their doors. It would also be a help to all in your community who read it, and the families of Homeschooling Today magazine as we continue working to encourage you with each issue we send.

- Tell us who you are buying a subscription for and why. Email your WHO to . We don't need a name, but rather a person's title or type of organization (e.g. "My hair stylist," "The local maternity ward," "The Crisis Pregnancy Center," or "Each pastor at my church," etc.)
Once a month*, we will draw one winner at random from all those submitted. The winner will receive a one-year subscription for themselves and an extra year for the person or organization that received their gift subscription. We will also post suggestions we choose here on this page and elsewhere as encouragements for others to follow your example.
*Drawing and give-away subject to end at any time at the sole discretion of Homeschooling Today magazine. Winner may choose the option of giving both prize years to the recipient person/organization.

The most common items found in doctor's office waiting rooms and exam rooms around the country is. . . magazines! As a service to those who are waiting to be seen, doctors welcome reading material they can offer to their patients. Whether you are visiting your family doctor, your obstetrician, or a specialist, chances are other parents visit there, too. Wouldn't it be great if they were encouraged in the discipling of their children while they wait?

As much as they would like them to, church budgets don't always leave room for magazine subscriptions. Wouldn't it be great if they were able to offer encouragement in the discipling of children to their patrons?

In a culture that encourages and expects two-income families, getting by on one income is a challenge. Although we work hard to provide the best quality magazine for the lowest cost, today's economy still prohibits some getting their own copy.
